HADEF Foundation (Humanitarian, Advocacy, Development & Education Foundation) is a registered NGO established in 2022. We develop sustainable housing solutions and empower women through education, health advocacy, and community development.
HADEF Foundation was established to address housing and community development needs for low-income and vulnerable populations in Somalia. Our approach prioritizes durable shelters, land acquisition, and cohesive community environments.
Shelter is a pillar for stability and dignity — enabling families to pursue education, health, and livelihood opportunities. Our programs also target education inequality and women’s economic empowerment.
Purchasing land and developing well-planned, durable shelters for homeless and low-income families.
Women-led cooperatives, income pathways, and skills programs (tailoring, carpentry, ICT, literacy).
Scholarships and targeted programs that reduce education inequality — especially for girls.
Maternal and child health, mobile services, disease prevention, and public health awareness.
Emergency relief during crises: food, clean water, and shelter support for vulnerable populations.
Reforestation and sustainable practices to combat environmental degradation in Somalia.
We provide donor-friendly reporting: clear milestones, beneficiary reach, and documentation of delivery. HADEF collaborates with government agencies, international NGOs, local organizations, and private sector stakeholders — including UN agencies such as UNICEF and WHO.
